Quilting Classes in Denver

Welcome to Dawna’s Design Threads. You have found the perfect place to come and learn to sew and quilt. I offer sewing and quilting classes right here in my home, located in Thornton, CO. If you have never touched a sewing machine before or have been sewing for years, you will find a class here that will enhance your life! I offer beginning sewing and beginning quilting classes, advance quilting techniques, and everything in between.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting and you’ll feel comfortable in a home environment learning to quilt at your own pace. At 6-8 students per quilting class, I make sure you understand your new learned skill. I have several machines available to use here or you can bring your own.

Personal, individual quilting lessons are also available. You can come to my house, or I can come to you if you don’t want to move your machine. Longarm Quilting is my passion and I have been professionally quilting for 4 years. Learning to use a longarm quilting machine can be very intimidating. One of the services I offer is to come to your house if you have a longarm machine and help jumpstart your dream of quilting like a professional.
